"Chickadee and Cello" is an idea that has been brewing for some time and possibly, the first in a series. Music and art are both a huge part of my life and whenever I play my cello outside, I have noticed that the birds do tend to come in a little closer. This is especially true if I am playing Bach. My watercolor "Morning Stretches" depicts a hummingbird who was perched very nearby on such an occasion, stretching and preening only a few feet away as I played Bach's second Suite for Cello. Fun!
