Crimson and Gold

Like many people, I love the colors of Autumn. Here in western Oregon, we have more blackberries than we know what to do with and I thought it would be nice to show how striking their colors can be. I've just completed this piece and have a number of sketches ready to use for more paintings depicting the fabulous colors of Fall!

You are inspiring, your heart and personality shows in the way you paint and find your subjects, they are beautiful gifts to our world. I will be traveling for 3 months this summer and will visit your beautiful Oregon for the first time, Can't wait to be amazed by the scenery and wildlife.
