My husband and I were spending a day down in the Elk River valley when I saw this fawn. I had just stepped around a large stump when we both looked at eachother, surprised but curious. I was so pleased that it didn't run! A few moments passed as we just looked at eachother, no traffic, people nor dogs to distract... I knew I would be painting this special moment in time.
